This add-on is for existing Full Members in New Zealand who wish to join NZMSA’s groups liability insurance.
In October of each year members will be asked to complete the proposal document & supplementary form for the upcoming year. (so that we can forward them to our broker to begin negotiations for the upcoming year.)
Members will have until 31st October to forward their completed forms to us at NZSMA.
Only the members whose completed forms have been forwarded to our broker on 1 November will be named on the new policy document at the renewal date of 1 December.
Please read the Sample proposal form for the correct way to complete it, if your form is not complete or does not meet the policy conditions below, your form will not be accepted.
If members wish to be added to the policy after it has been issued at the start of the Insurance Year, an additional endorsement charge of $30+gst will be included to the cost of the Insurance for that member to be added to the policy document.
Once we receive your completed proposal form it will be submitted to our broker, if approved you will be added to our Policy Document.
A copy of the policy document can be provided to you (please allow a couple of days)
NZSMA Insurance runs from 1 December @ 4.00pm to 1 December 3.59pm the following year.

You will receive an email confirming that your order is complete, this means your proposal form has been accepted by our broker and your name is being added to the policy (this can take up to a week)
